However grades went, I implore you not to abandon your ambitions. Note how often people deny possessing big dreams for fear of seeming arrogant; apologize, caveat, or downplay grand goals; or accept a self-imposed limit on their potential. These sins are encouraged by a society that prizes conformity and enjoys cutting down those who don’t comply. Do not comply. Remember that grades are a single metric representing a clean path to success, but that many paths always exist.

I do hope you did great in your classes. I do know that your future is uncapped regardless.
